We thus strive to prevent errors and defects at every stage of operation. Our well-defined quality management system meets latest international standards. We conduct rigorous in-process checks and audits and constantly review the quality assurance system.

The Head of Quality closely monitors these proceedings. His core team includes the qualified Quality Executives and Engineers. Members are assigned their definite job responsibility and accountability. In each manufacturing units engineers are responsible for quality assurance and control and are assisted by additional inspectors who oversee vendor quality assurance and OQC/ PDI.

Our state-of-the-art Quality Assurance Equipments consist of
IZOD impact tester, tensile testing machine, Spectro photometer, I R tester, Rockwell hardness tester, paint viscosity and thickness testers, etc.

Each process is managed with the help of a PDCA cycle carried on during the various processes like manufacturing and equipment control. We have two inspectors for injection molding, three for paint shop and two more for secondary processes.

The members involved in quality assurance are also included in various training and cross-functional activities conducted from time to time. More such quality circles are introduced as the workload increases to enable each person to carry out his assignments responsibly.
Quality control and improvement plans are also designed specifically for special purposes. These include:

  1. Quality PPM reduction plan

The chief objective of this plan is to bring about an all-round awareness regarding PPM targets. We invite daily feedback from our customers like HMSI, LG and Samsung to identify our strengths and weaknesses. Counter measures are taken immediately upon identification of a problem area. Our reassurance and sales after services do not end here. We contact our customers on a regular basis to ensure that they are completely satisfied with our solution.
Within the organization, we conduct regular meetings to discuss results. Our PPM level has been reduced from 4500 to 300 and this success is shared by all. We will attain our targeted PPM level of less than 100 soon.

  1. Mould preventive maintenance procedure

This procedure is carried out with the aid of mould history cards. It includes checking and cleaning all moving parts, sliding components and cooling channels of moulds every 10000 shots.

The butting surfaces too are checked and cleaned before removing the mould from IMM to avoid defects at later stages. The surfaces of the moulds too are cleaned before each production run to ensure the best quality possible as expected by our customers.

All our plants are certified for ISO 14001, ISO/TS 16949:2002 and OHSAS 18001.
